structural features

Roller design: Most screening buckets adopt a roller structure with a screen inside. After the material enters the roller, as the roller rotates, the material smaller than the mesh size is discharged through the screen, and the material larger than the mesh size remains in the roller and is conveyed forward.

Feed and discharge design: The feed inlet is usually large to facilitate the excavator to quickly grab materials and put them in. The discharge outlet can be designed at different positions as needed. Some also have devices that can adjust the discharge speed and direction.

Driving system: Generally, a hydraulic motor drives the drum to rotate. It has strong power and can achieve stepless speed change. The drum speed can be adjusted according to the material properties and screening requirements.

operating principle

The excavator grabs the material into the screening bucket. The drive system drives the drum to rotate. The material rolls, collides and rubs inside the drum. Under the action of centrifugal force and gravity, the material that meets the size of the sieve hole falls through the sieve and is separated; the larger particles of material remain in the drum and are discharged from the other end, thus realizing the screening of materials.
